0. Download right Siebel software
1. Unzip your software
2. Install Oracle database for Siebel
3. Install 32-bit Oracle Client
4. Prepare for Siebel Installation
5. Install Siebel gateway server, Enterprise Server, Siebel server
6. Configure Gateway server
7. Configure Siebel Enterprise on Gateway server
8.1. Validate database for Siebel User and ODBC
8.2. Configure database server for Siebel
9. Configure Siebel Server
10. Install web server extension
11. Configure Siebel Web Server Extension
12. Install Web client
13. Configure web server(IIS) and Launch URL
14. Install Siebel tools(if needed)

A. Install JAVA and Set Environment

Install jdk-7u79-windows-x64

set JRE_HOME and JAVA_HOME environment variables

B. Create the Siebel Image

This step extract all jar files and creates folder structure to install Siebel and it’s components
Go to C:\Siebel\Stage (Location where you have unzipped all your files)

run Snic.bat





Choose the directory where you want to create Siebel Image




Choose the Siebel Components you want to install



In your stage location if you have the jar file available, provide the information or you can ignore and continue.

C. Open Inbound and Outbound ports required for Siebel

Ensure you have 2320, 2321, 80, 443, ports are open for TCP/IP
Control panel -> Security settings -> Windows Firewall -> Advanced settings
Create new Inbound Rule











Create new Outbound Rule
